The goal of IPDF Trust, an NGO for education in India, is to provide quality education for children of disadvantaged communities and make a difference in the lives of those children. A vital part of their initiative is addressing the challenges that prevent these children from obtaining a quality education in their communities.

IPDF Trust is working towards providing holistic education and creating sustainable livelihoods for 5,000 children in the next 5 years. For this, we focus equally on shelter homes, communities, and schools, increasing impact and sustainability.

This organization has remained true to UNESCO’s motto of being “committed to a holistic and humanistic vision of quality education worldwide, the realization of everyone’s right to education, and the belief that education plays a fundamental role in human, social, and economic development.” As an NGO in India for education, IPDF Trust has shown relentless dedication to making life better for children of disadvantaged communities by providing them with an education that will enable them to have a better future.

IPDF Trust bridges the gaps in formal education and opportunities by providing under-privileged children language and STEAM education, life-skills support, and scholarships for higher education.

• Through volunteers during weekends at orphanages engaged in providing holistic education and life skills support.
• Through fellows during the week at low-income private and government schools focused on school transformation and improving learning outcomes.
• Through community youth every evening at after-school community centers in urban slums striving to improve community ownership of the education of their children.

IPDF Trust started its health programme with a view to provide healthcare to all, irrespective of location and socio-economic standards, with a special focus on the urban poor and underserved villagers. Keeping the health of children, women, and other vulnerable populations in mind, mobile health clinics were started to reach people in far-flung areas and informal settlements of cities where awareness about basic healthcare is lacking. These people are mostly daily wagers who have no time to go for even free-of-cost health check-ups in government hospitals.

The IPDF Trust healthcare programme aims at bringing healthcare to the doorsteps of people while encouraging health awareness and contemporary healthcare-seeking behavior among underprivileged communities. This is achieved through campaigns, health camps organized at regular intervals, and providing health screening, medical care, and medicines through mobile health clinics.

With telemedicine services becoming a blessing for people living in remote areas, IPDF Trust has integrated the telemedicine model with the mobile healthcare programme. Dedicated telemedicine centers and e-health clinics have been set up where patients from remote rural areas can avail tele-consultation facilities, with paramedics, lab facilities, and medicines available at the center.

IPDF Trust realized that with a little hand-holding, youth can become the backbone of the Indian economy. If they are shown the right direction, they prosper, their family prospers, and so does the country. The aim was and is to help as many youth as possible in gaining gainful employment. This includes those who have dropped out of school and those who have completed their Class X and XII.

This e-learning education programme of IPDF Trust has continued to create a pool of young and independent people through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements. The program provides training in soft skills, basic computer use, spoken English, and the basics of written communication.

With the pandemic, there was a steep rise in unemployment and a need to re-skill and upskill the youth as per the changing needs of the market. The STeP initiative shifted focus to emerging sectors including healthcare assistance, digital marketing, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), and e-logistics.

किसान ऑर्गेनिक फसल कार्ड योजना

IDPF Trust के द्वारा संचालित किसान ऑर्गेनिक फसल कार्ड योजना एक किसान संबंधी योजना है जिसमें किसानों को पंजीकृत कर लाभ दिलाई जाएगी।

उद्देश्य:

1. सभी किसानों को नई तकनीकी से खेती करवाना एवं जागरूक करना
2. रासायनिक खाद से उपज फसल से विभिन्न तरह का होने वाली बीमारी और भूमि को बंजर होने से बचाना
3. जैविक खाद के बारे में जागरूक एवं उपयोग करवाकर स्वच्छ फसल उत्पादन करवाना।
